Yoga Teacher Training 200hr Intensive Retreat 


Join Shelley Tomczyk (E-RYT 500) and Jane Ready-Webster (Certified Nutritional Practitioner, RYT 200) on a 21-day transformative 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training in the idyllic paradise that is Rote island, Indonesia.

Along with obtaining Yoga Alliance 200-h RYT certification, participants will be nourished with a daily holistic and nourishing menu created with local and seasonal ingredients from Rote, and offered cooking and nutritional workshops. Snorkeling, surfing, foraging and trekking will be available to participants during off-time, along with plenty of time to peacefully rejuvenate and restore in the tropical oasis of Utopia Rote.

Far off the beaten track, Rote Island has its own exotic and distinct character, with clean pristine beaches, raw landscapes, epic waves and lush coral reefs to explore. It’s a remote oasis where animals still roam free and tourists don’t overcrowd the island, perfect for travelers looking for adventure and an escape from the crowds. Utopia Rote Lodge was created with the dream of building a sanctuary that will eventually be completely self-sustainable. For this reason, it operates on solar power only and places emphasis on compost and permaculture. The garden and farm continue to expand in order to be able to use more and more of our own produce, working together with the local community to bring back organic farming and help with the management of waste. Utopia Rote Lodge is located on a hill, minutes away from the beach. All suites feature an ocean view. 

This 200-hr Yoga Alliance Certified course is designed to provide you with an optimal environment in which to learn the tools and skills needed to become a yoga teacher. This training is suitable for anyone new to yoga or with long time experience looking to intensify their own practice and refine their teaching. Enriched with yoga philosophy, daily practices of asana, meditation and pranayama you will be provided with a safe learning environment which to grow your own voice and confidence as a yoga teacher.

About Jane Ready-Webster

Jane Ready-Webster is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner and Registered Yoga Teacher from Canada, and is currently based out of Indonesia and Australia. She is dedicated to a holistic way of living that is balanced with authenticity, adventure, creativity, nourishment, playfulness and movement. Jane has been practicing yoga for 10 years. She began studying Hatha yoga in Thailand in 2014 at Agama Yoga. She acquired her 200h Yoga Teacher Training in Toronto in 2015 at Octopus Garden Holistic Yoga Centre. Jane has since been a dedicated yoga practitioner and teacher, studying Holistic Nutrition, and continuing her yoga education and training with the mentorship of Shelley Tomczyk in Vancouver. She is passionate about cooking and eating delicious and healthful foods and helping clients understand the healing power of what and how we eat in an approachable way. Jane believes that the synergy of yoga, nutrition, body work and nature are the pillars of health and happiness, and is devoted to offering services and practices to empower and support others on this journey.
